Working on comprehension prompts to help someone’s understanding using written, drawing techniques, communication boards, alphabet charts, i-pads and non-verbal communications.
Word Finding Therapy
Helping clients to access words in naming tasks or when “lost for words” within fluent conversation by using therapy programmes and a range of strategies such as “Thinking of another word” or “describing the word”. Groups to practice conversation for higher level language clients are also available.
Talking Mats Therapy
This approach is very effective for clients with more complex comprehension and expressive needs. It involves using pictures about topics to aid understanding and promotes non-verbal and verbal communications.
Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT LOUD GLOBAL)
Superb intensive therapy program to maintain and improve voice volume (used mainly with clients, who have Parkinson’s Disease, but can be adapted to vocal volume problems, resulting from most conditions). This therapy is given 4 days a week for 4 weeks and requires high commitment to maintain the efficacy of it. Guaranteed overall improvement in voice volume and articulation over a two year period with regular practice. Short top up sessions available (LSVT Light) and now offering LSVT e Loud, using the latest technology on Skype or Face time to complete the program in the comfort of your own home (different packages available).

Relaxation and Breathing Therapy programmes are also available.
Swallowing Disorders Management
This includes adaptation of diets and specialised strategies for safer swallowing.
Following comprehensive assessment, clients will be offered one of the following:
- Indirect Therapy – using exercises to strengthen client’s facial, oral and pharyngeal muscles and techniques to aid safe swallowing
- Direct Therapy – looking at safe modification of client’s diet and liquids
